This light comes straight off this one. I sense both the crisp, clear blue sky and the slight chill of a spring breeze. There is something dynamic in the angles and curves, as if the buildings and street lamp are vibrating with energy.
I began my Painting a Day Project on January 1st, 2010. I plan to paint 1 small painting a day for the next year.
Rules: In general there are no rules. But I generally try to keep the paintings within 1 hour or so and I'm allowed vacation days (where I plan ahead and paint ahead). By the end of the year, I plan to have 365 paintings...keep your fingers crossed.
5/25/2010: Well Folks, it's probably more like a painting a week. But I'm still at it and still enjoying overall. So keep those fingers crossed because you never know...it may speed up near the end...!
