The abstract work is a fascinating step in your work. I'm currently enjoying the one I'm labeling "clouds" (even though they don't really feel like clouds). It has the initial effect of softening my breath. It's a soothing feeling.
I began my Painting a Day Project on January 1st, 2010. I plan to paint 1 small painting a day for the next year.
Rules: In general there are no rules. But I generally try to keep the paintings within 1 hour or so and I'm allowed vacation days (where I plan ahead and paint ahead). By the end of the year, I plan to have 365 paintings...keep your fingers crossed.
5/25/2010: Well Folks, it's probably more like a painting a week. But I'm still at it and still enjoying overall. So keep those fingers crossed because you never know...it may speed up near the end...!
