Saw this kicking around the street for a few days on my regular dog walk. Nothing special until last week when I really noticed it for...wow! what a beauty I thought. I wonder if it's being thrown out (it was by the garbage cans) or someone was actually regularly using it. Should I take it? It's got such great color. Instead I took a photo and painted it. The other day we walk past and it was gone....darn!
I like how ya think.. glad you painted it. now it serves another purpose and form of wonderment. nice work, girl.
ReplyDeleteThe white-washed sunshine splashes off the canvas. I wonder if it's the bold orange and red that create that effect. The sinking numerals also create a striking contrast making it more "urban". I'm putting this one up in my living room!
